Numba 20!!!
Well, here's my last post for the semester. I believe we're supposed to conclude a bit from our blog throughout the semester. I really liked the papers we wrote, even though a couple of them were hard. I thought more about them than I've probably ever thought about papers before and it showed in how much my writing improved. The blog also gave me a chance to think about other stuff like what I'm thankful for and excited for and I really liked that. I made some new friends in English 150, and I like having them in my life!! Working with Sister Steadman was a blast and she was really helpful with writing and many other aspects of English. It's a little weird that the semester is over, but I'm excited for what the next one will bring. Til next time, adios!!
Lessons
Our finals in English 150 have been to prepare a lesson outline and teach the class about a topic we picked. I taught about doing research, and even though I was skeptical when I started, it was actually a pretty fun way to learn and earn points for class. As we've gone through the last couple days and had other people present, I really like some of the lessons (and some of the candy). I think it's a cool way to interpret a final and it works well because it's proving that we learned things throughout the semester.
Friday!!
I love Fridays!! No practice today, don't have to wake up early tomorrow, really a great day to be a Coug. I had a party in one of my classes, and after all of my school was over I got to relax all day.. It felt like a success to me! And the bright side is, only one more Friday until there isn't any more Friday's in the semester!! School has gone by so fast lately it's kind of a crazy thing to think half a year is already over.

2 Down, 2 To Go!
I just finished my second of four finals... Wow! College is a beast. I actually feel pretty good about both of the finals that I've had so far, but they still make me nervous for some reason. I feel like finals are designed to destroy any small bit of confidence that we might have left. It's like we finally finish the semester, we get through all of our classes, and then just to crush the fact that we're happy about being done, they throw one last bomb at us to kill any livelyhood that remains.
On the bright side, the finals do mean that the semester is coming to a close and we get to repeat the process starting in January. But, before January comes, I get to go home for 3 weeks!! I can't wait!!

Party Time
Today is the last day of labs for my Anthro 101 class, and I'm super stoked for a couple of reasons: First off, I don't have a whole lot of enjoyment that stems from that class... It's real boring. Second, since it's the last lab day, my TA decided we should have a party! Everyone signed up for something to bring (I got chips and salsa) and instead of boring studying or group discussion, we're going to party and watch funny videos on YouTube. Sounds like a much better time than the alternative!! Happy Friday!

Hunting Last Week was a Success!!
My brother had a turkey tag for this last week!! We had such a ball hunting and getting a nice hen was just a bonus!! Me, him, and my dad all went out and we took Ruger, the best dog in the world, and had a great time getting it done on a good looking turkey. Hunting has always been such a big part of my life, and I love it the most because it's such a great way to spend time with my family. Congrats Mitch!!
I'm a Teacher?
I just finished preparing my lesson that I'll be teaching to our class today... That's right. I will be TEACHING. Who would've thought? College is a crazy place, I'm getting so educated. We're gonna learn about doing research for when you have to write papers for classes. It's not the most exciting topic, but hopefully it'll be fun and it will help to remind my classmates some of the basic aspects of doing academic research. Ya'll can't wait to get taught by Mr. Dr. Professor Zach Brink!
