This last weekend was the Fall session of General Conference. I went Saturday morning and it was pretty sick. I liked Ronald A. Rasband's talk, I Stand All Amazed. He talked about when the first presidency had called him into a meeting and asked him to be an apostle and all of the emotions he felt when that happened. He said: "I am overwhelmed and shaken to my very core..." He was really impressed when President Monson told him that the call had come from Jesus Christ.
Then he talked about his wife and everything that she had helped him with and done to help him be put in the place he was in, and how she had kept him going at times he didn't want to continue. He also gave credit to a multigenerational LDS family and for all of the good things that he learned because of that.
His biggest message was what he ended with: "Love one another as Jesus loved you." He said that he is confident there is no sin or choice that would prevent the Lord from loving you anymore. His message was that we should reach out to everyone and invite them to come back to God because we would hope someone would do the same for us.
